Bow Ties are for girls silly boy

The bow tie and I belong together, without a doubt. I wish I could have bought all the other colors too!
I am super excited for the holidays! I love love this time of year and I can't wait to get dresses for every occasion. Christmas music, lots of food, gift wrapping, family, friends and decorating, what is there not to love about the holidays!

Lanvin ♥ H&M purchase

The story goes like this:
I stood in line at about 6:15am on Saturday and realized that the store I chose to shop at was new so word about this store having the Lanvin collection didn't spread. Yay! I still wasn't lucky enough to get my hands on the leopard shoes with rhinestones and sunglasses but it's OK. I am crossing my fingers for returns. I did however get my hands on these items. My favorite purchase was the bow tie, I wasn't even going to shop the men's collection but while I killed time for my wristband color to be called I went upstairs and laid my eyes on the satin brown bow tie. It was love at first sight, and as you will see in my next post, we belong together!

Black or White?

Via EmmanuelGiraud.com
Photos shot by Emmanuel Giraud for Tangent magazine

I am in LOVE with this editorial, it's breathtaking. I think it's perfect in many ways, the photos are shot very well, the lighting is perfect, the angles are just right and the styling is amazing. The minute I saw this on Fashion Gone Rogue I was drawn to see more. Black is my favorite color for almost everything and I've always wondered about two things, why there is never black clothes for babies and kids? and would my mother be totally disappointed or upset if I was to marry in a black dress? After seeing this shoot and especially the first picture, I can't picture myself getting married in any other color but black, sorry mommy!

Mouse never, but Muse forever!

Forever 21 just launched a Minnie Mouse inspired collection called "Minnie Muse," and it is as cute as a button! It's too bad they aren't selling those amazing ears and enormous bows, they are a perfect fit for the plain t-shirts. The collection includes clothing, accessories, socks and tights, and it ranges from $4.80 or $29.80. It will only be available while supplies last, so don't wait, go out and buy it!

Sample/Warehouse Sale Madness!

Although I am still trying to figure out how I will make both Lanvin for H&M and a couple of sample sales, one thing is for sure, I will end up at one of these sales! If you are in LA you should definitely consider going to one or a few ;) After all, what better way to get your holiday shopping done early, whether it be for you or someone else!

My Wishlist

This is what happens when I have a little time to myself to do nothing! I love to window-on-line shop, I really should be organizing my closet but what better way to take a break than to window-on-line shop :)
Every year for Christmas after I've finished all my shopping for others, I always buy myself something too. I don't know if it's selfish but I figure that I work very hard all year long and I am usually a good girl so I deserve something too. Here is my wish list to myself this year! What's on your list?

Lacy

Lace and dark lipstick are the perfect combination!

And in other news, I've been working mad overtime and have been really feeling like a vacation is needed soon again. In between sleep, rest and work I've come up with a list of cities I want to visit in the U.S. by the end of next year! However, if Europe were somehow to be a possibility then I would push back my due date for those cities! Here is my list:
1. New Orleans - for Mardi Gras. After what the city has been through, the people of New Orleans probably have a new take on life and their love for their city would make it a perfect place to meet people and experience their culture.
2. San Francisco - it is compared to New York, but smaller. What more can I say!
3. Chicago - for the music and theatre!
4. Napa Valley - Wine country!
5. Portland, Oregon - they are suppose to have a big indie scene and lot's of vintage stores. What more can I ask for!

Am I missing anything?

Gossip Girl

Marie Claire UK December 2011 via Fashion Gone Rogue

I love this spread even though it's just a beauty spread. Leighton Meester aka Blair Waldorf looks soooo pretty! Her tattoo is perfect, I've seriously been contemplating a tattoo for a very long time but I haven't built up the courage to do it. I'm waiting for the day when I wake up and just do it!
