H&M Designer Collaboration....Who will it be?!

The suspense is killing me! This November H&M will be releasing yet another collection collabo...but with who?! H&M has been dropping hints on Facebook with short videos, and since then the rumors have been all over the place, I've heard Carolina Herrera, Lanvin, Tomas Maier head of creative design at Bottega Venetta, Shiatzy Chen, etc. And the video clues are only making it worse, because they feature different men and woman. They will be confirming the designer collaboration on September 9th so until then keep guessing, I honestly have no clue who it will be but I'm looking forward to the announcement. H&M has been doing designer collaborations for the last few years. H&M's first major collaboration was with the one and only, Mr. Karl Lagerfeld in 2002, since then it has partnered with Stella McCartney, Viktor & Rolf, Roberto Cavalli, Jimmy Choo and many more. Who do you think it(or they) will be?

Welcome to Miami, Bienvenidos a Miami

It is exactly one week ago when I arrived home from my short vacation to Miami. Occasion: A 30th birthday and a 23rd birthday celebration! I went with my friends(one of them being the 23 year old birthday girl) and met up with my sister who was celebrating her friends 30th birthday. I celebrated my 21st birthday in Miami 4 years ago, and not much has changed since I was last there, Miami is still very vibrant and the party never stops. The vacation itself was as relaxing as I wanted it to be, I lounged around, swam in a pool at night in warm tropical weather, ate a lot of food and of course I partied... a lot. And boy oh boy, did I eat a lot, I had a doctors appointment last week and found out I gained 5 pounds! I ate a lot of Cuban food as I hoped for, I even had a "Havana banana split." Unfortunately, caring my Nikon was a bit torturing in the humid heat and I couldn't bare to carry it around all day, so I had to leave it in the room. Here are just a few pics!

Paris, Je T'Aime

And this is how I spent my night, watching "Paris, Je T'Aime." The cover to this film reads; "Stories of love, from the city of love," the advertisement above reads; "Fall in love with Paris 18 times." And both statements are exactly how I feel about this film. Yes, the movie involves love stories, Paris is the city of love, and after watching this film I definitely fell in love with Paris 18 times. I know I am very late in watching this film, it was released about 3-4 years ago, and I've had the chance to see "New York, I Love You" which came after this movie. I liked "New York, I Love You," but I loved "Paris, Je T'Aime." It put me in that mood, where I dream and imagine, and nothing seems unreachable. I watched it alone, so it made painting a visual picture with myself in it, very easy. I love films like this one because they inspire me in many ways for example, If I were in any of the Parisian settings portrayed in the film, I know what I would wear, what I would like to eat, the type of music I'd listen to, where I would go out to, etc. The way we dress, the things we say, the things we do, the things we like are all representations of who we are. Personally me, well I'm all over the place which explains the dreamer in me. If you haven't seen the film you should, and if you've seen it, what did you think?

p.s. Natalie Portman is stunning, she is very natural in this film and she still looks gorgeous!

Lame! Sorry

I'm sorry for the lack of post over the last week! I was on vacation in Miami, which was amazing! But then I came back home to a week of overtime at work, it has been a terrible transition. I've only been home for 2 days and I feel like my vacation was sooo long ago :( Not to mention, I have not been feeling well at all. Tomorrow will be another long day with a doctors appointment in the morning and 8+ hour work day. I do have soo many things I want to share with you! As soon as I'm rested, I will overwhelm you with posts! I hope your week has been and will be better than mine!

On Vacation or Holiday as many others say

Hello guys!!! Oh how I've missed you! I'm sorry I haven't updated you with any post, I am on vacation and I've had trouble connecting to wi-fi. I'm updating through my phone. Im sorry for the lack of post, I've been very busy with work. This was my weekend...

Its funny how when you've lived in a city your entire your life, there are those places that you've been never been to, and once you discover them, you ask yourself "How have I never been here?". I've been in an adventurous mood lately and part of my "half year" resolution is to go about and discover those little hidden treasures within my city. My boyfriend(George, I will use his name from now on) and I went to one of the most beautiful museums that L.A. has to offer, The Getty. There we explored through different types of art, the gardens, the sculptures and the view. The view and the gardens are amazing, it is very peaceful and I easily found myself imagining what taking a nap under the shade would be like....

Then we were off to Bottega Louie! I've been wanting to go there for the last year but it seemed as if I would never make it there. It is a very cute, elegant but reasonably priced restaurant/bar/patisserie. I finally got the chance to try a french Macaron, accompanied by a delicious glass of Moscato... all I have to say is YUM!!!

My day was as pleasant as I dreamed it would be...

As for my outfit, I wore; vintage Franco Sarto boots, a vintage little boys blazer, and a vintage little girl petticoat slip dress.

Nothing but ♥ for Kylie

My music mood today is super girly. I've been blasting Kylie Minogue all day. Not only is she beautiful, but she has great dance songs! She recently released her new album, "Aphrodite" and she was on the cover of the June issue for Elle UK, of course she looks flawless. I was going to post her most recent single but I absolutely love "2 Hearts." Here is a little dose of Kylie for you too!

P.S. I love that she wore all black because it brings out the red lipstick, red nails and red bottom Louboutins!

Fair, Food and Lights

The O.C. Fair! Being there made me feel like I was 10 years old again... it had been soo long since I'd been to any fair, so you can imagine my excitement. I pretty much spent all my money, but I figured if I splurge on shoes, why not splurge on a memory that would last me a lifetime. Fun-houses, ferris wheels, stuffed animals, and unique food; the list goes on and on. And oh yeah, did I mention the food? Fried everything, cotton candy, candy apples, turkey legs, funnel cake, basically everything you shouldn't eat; and I tried it all. Oh boy, my stomach was really hating me after all that sugar, nonetheless it was another fun night!

7 years of Bliss

My boyfriend(George) and I have been together 7 years today! It was an amazing weekend and a stressful Monday at work but I came home to my traditional cookie cake, which of course made my day better!
